But when friends are over or I’m gaming with my wife I built a smaller PC thats hooked up to the TV in the living room that runs games pretty damn well and cost be about a total of $400 a year ago. It might be possible on AMD, but the Deck doesn't have an AMD control panel. I'm not familiar with how it works in BO3. I've overcome this issue in other games by forcing the game into borderlesss windowed and manually setting the resolution to match my two monitor width. This only works if a) the game let's you change resolution via config.

So say I have Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for the Xbox 360 and I have an Xbox One S. Will I be able to have split screen when I play the 360 game on the Xbox One or no because the Xbox One would be running as an Xbox 360 and therefore no split screen? I would really like to know.

This is black ops 3, on PC, if you play this game on a beastly PC rig, that means you have no friends, problem solved. So I am thoroughly convinced that you did not read the entire paragraph because the problem is not with lag or resolution! When you play split screen it does not optimize the size of your monitor and it just smushes it!
